Desire

The impulses that drive us to act often manifest themselves in the form of ambition aimed at achieving excessive, utopian goals, regardless of the price we have to pay for them. I believe it is worth considering the true motivation behind our actions, their source, whether they stem from genuine needs or merely from a desire to prove something to ourselves and others.
Or perhaps these desires stem from a feeling of permanent unfulfillment? If so, perhaps they point to the desired path of inner integration? Even if this is the case, we usually look for solutions outside ourselves, searching for a ready-made recipe for success in life. We will not satisfy our desires as long as we look outside ourselves and do not turn in the opposite direction—towards ourselves.
